Southeast Pacific: known only from one of the submarine mountains (Shoal Guyot) in the southernmost portion of the Nazca ridge.
Morphology: Dorsal soft rays (total): 16 - 17; Anal soft rays: 10 %26#150; 11; Vertebrae: 41 %26#150; 43. Pyloric caeca absent (Ref. 7434).
