Eastern Pacific: Tomales Bay in northern California, USA to southern Baja California in Mexico, including the Gulf of California.
Biology: Found in mudflats and shallow bays. Oviparous (Ref. 56079). Males guard the eggs which are found attached to the walls of burrows (Ref. 56079).
