Western Indian Ocean: Gulf of Aqaba and Gulf of Suez to Sudan.
Biology: Common in very shallow water (as shallow as 10 cm) on rocky shores (Ref. 9962). Oviparous (Ref. 205). Eggs are demersal and adhesive (Ref. 205).
