Morphology: Dorsal spines (total): 11 - 11; Dorsal soft rays (total): 26 - 31; Anal spines: 2; Anal soft rays: 7. Body silvery, everywhere so clouded with brown dots as to quite obscure the ground color; pectoral and pelvic fins pale (Ref. 9772).
Biology: Inhabits shallow coastal waters, estuaries and rivers (Ref. 9772).
